Does anyone even have the energy to read such a long text anymore? 🫣
These days, life moves at an incredibly fast pace. Fast videos, fast decisions, and a fast lifestyle. 🏃♀️🏃♂️
On social media, you’re supposed to show up more, share more, be more. And yet, nothing ever seems enough, and at the same time, we gradually lose touch with what’s truly important.
I used to write a lifestyle blog. I loved writing—and I still do—but even back then, I had to find the time to capture and share everything on social media. Everything had to be photographed, from my outfit of the day to my meals. And of course, the food often got cold in the meantime. 😮💨
The blogging world was still bearable, but somehow I find it really hard to keep up with today’s social media culture. And that’s both a good and a bad thing.
Good, because I know how to pause, look around, and be more present. ❤️
Bad, because sometimes it feels like I’m falling behind—when I don’t have the energy, or even the desire, to run at the same pace as trends and algorithms—and then my business visibility decreases, and I don’t reach my audience.
Social media also has so much good. Through it, I’ve met truly wonderful people, found inspiration, shared my art, and reached customers—and I’m deeply grateful for that.
I create art because it’s my way of pausing, telling my story, sharing my thoughts, and reminding others through art to stop and notice the beauty in the small, simple things. 🌿
It’s quite paradoxical when the modern world tries to keep people busy in front of screens, while my art comes from slowing down, noticing small details, and being present.
Fast-paced life or slow life—if only these could somehow stay in balance. I want to live and create authentically, guided not by speed, but by meaning. ❤️
