Self-taught artist

Feb, 20, 2024

💥 In my artistic career, I have been criticised for not being a trained artist.

It is important to remember that education does not always define a person's ability or competence in a particular field, especially in the creative sector. Self-taught artists can be just as talented and successful as trained artists if they have passion and dedication for their work.

The key is to combine a passion for your own artistic expression with continuous self-improvement and a desire to learn. Creativity knows no boundaries and is not bound by degrees and papers.

I'm certainly not disparaging graduate artists. While lack of education may affect some situations, such as access to galleries and grants, it is still possible to have a successful career and earn recognition for your work and talent and I think this is important to highlight.🔥

Art has always been an integral part of my identity and my work.

When I was young, I went to a fine arts school and got a diploma in fine arts in high school. Life later took me into goldsmithing and I graduated as a goldsmithing artisan, which deepened my love for the appreciation of craftsmanship and creative expression.

The feeling and values I carry with me in each of my works are born from the depths of my soul and my life experiences. They are the force that drives me forward in my creative work and connects me to you who find meaning and beauty in my art.

Often the real value is reflected in the quality of the work and how it touches and affects people.❤️

Talent and dedication can take you far, whatever your educational background.❤️‍🔥 Believe in yourself!
